You will sometimes be happy and sometimes sad,
and then you’ll be old, and then you’ll be dead.
— 9 Life Lessons from Tim Minchin

Hello!

Form meets function. I’ve always been drawn to functional graphic design - design that looks good but also serves a purpose and works to meet a greater goal.

I am a designer with 10+ years of experience working as an in-house graphic designer in a variety of different industries, including commercial real estate, health and medical, retail and higher education. I’ve created all kinds of print and digital materials from brochures and reports to in-store shop signage, packaging, large-scale out-of-home advertising campaigns, digital display ads and so much more. You name the material, I’ve probably dabbled in it.

I’m creative, I’m organized, I love my to-do lists, and am great at problem solving and collaborating within a team. I love what I do, but I also strongly believe in a healthy work-life balance and finding passions outside of work. Inspiration comes in so many different forms!

As a creative side project, I co-run a food blog with a friend, portandfin.com, where I create all sort of delicious recipes, stage and photograph them. It started as a hobby and continued as a creative outlet. Check out some of my favourite photos here, or take a read through the blog.

On the weekends you can find me hiking in the forest with my dog Parker, or curled up under an inappropriate number of blankets reading a good book.
