The Alumni Awards is an annual event that celebrates the accomplishments of select alumni and their contributions to their fields and communities. In 2021, the event transitioned to a fully digital format due to the COVID-19 pandemic, prompting the need for a refreshed visual approach that would effectively promote the event while encouraging virtual viewership.

The creative concept embraced a slightly playful tone that reflected the uncertainty of the moment: “Stay Tuned.” Building on this theme, I developed a visual direction inspired by the aesthetic of glitchy, vintage television monitors.

The resulting graphics were vibrant and bold, creating a distinctive and memorable campaign. The visual system was applied across multiple platforms, including social media graphics, digital advertising, and print ads in local newspapers, helping to generate awareness and engagement for the virtual event.
