UNIVERSITY & COLLEGE DESIGNERS ASSOCIATION (UCDA) 2022 AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

CapU’s annual viewbook is a large-scale project designed to showcase the university’s campus, programs, and student experience in a distinctive and engaging way. Its objective is to attract prospective students while helping CapU stand out among a highly competitive landscape of universities and colleges.

For this edition, I developed a more creative visual approach that combined photography and illustration. The concept focused on representing the transformative journey students experience throughout their post-secondary education. To bring this idea to life, I incorporated a blend of hand-drawn illustrations, stock illustration, and photography.

The playful and whimsical visual style helped balance the significant amount of technical and academic information included in the publication, creating a more engaging and approachable reading experience for prospective students.
