COVID-19 Safety signs

The COVID-19 pandemic brought significant change to campus operations. At CapU, the shift to remote learning and working from home required both employees and students to quickly adapt to a restricted campus environment and evolving safety protocols.

In collaboration with the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) safety committee, Facilities, and the Communications team, I designed a comprehensive suite of infographic-style signage for campus. The challenge was to create branded, visually engaging materials that would capture attention while clearly communicating critical health and safety information.

The final system included a wide range of applications, such as campus billboards, room occupancy signage, floor decals, sandwich boards, digital screen graphics, and social media assets. A consistent colour palette—teal, orange, and red—paired with simplified iconography created a cohesive and highly recognizable visual system that remained aligned with CapU’s brand while ensuring the information was clear and accessible.
