PURDYS CHOCOLATIER SEASONAL CATALOGUES
The two most important seasons to support the Group and Fundraising programs at Purdys Chocolatier are, not surprisingly, Christmas and Easter. Because of the importance of these seasons and the level of exposure generated by the two programs, print catalogues were created to highlight new and existing seasonal products.
These catalogues were massive undertakings, and as the graphic designer in charge of creating them, I worked with many different departments to make sure all variables—photography, pricing, item codes, weight, item count—were correct. Other teams I collaborated with included Photography, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality Assurance, the Group Purchase team, the Fundraising team, and Executives.
Once design and layout were complete, the catalogues went through multiple levels of proofing across all departments. I then worked with an external vendor where I would coordinate printing, materials, press checks and approval.
